Grimoires vs Bloodlines

Last verified:

Option A

Grimoires

Grimoire Castle · 5 grimoires · Wind is the community #1

Option B

Bloodlines

Truth Waterfall NPC · 5K Chikara Shards per spin · 4 bloodlines

Specials are the whole-kit powers of Endless: Z/X/C movesets that replace your quest powers in a fight, and only one special can be active at a time. Grimoires and Bloodlines are the two systems players argue about first, because both have a clear community-ranked #1 (Wind Grimoire and White Eyes) and both are farmable without touching Robux. They pay off differently: Grimoires are the mob-grinding kings, Bloodlines bring the strongest single answer to bosses and PvP utility.

Pick Grimoires when…

Chase Grimoires first if your sessions are mostly mob and boss-farm loops. Water Grimoire's 1-second-cooldown Z move is the best low-investment farming tool in the game and you'll hit it in a spin or two at 76.92%. Wind is the long-term keeper: Strength scaling, short cooldowns, and enough burst that most damage builds never take it off.

Pick Bloodlines when…

Chase Bloodlines first if you fight players or want one kit that answers everything. White Eyes at 31% is the single best pull-to-power ratio among all specials, and Copy Eyes' Illusion (a 5-second full lockdown) decides PvP fights on its own. Spins cost Chikara Shards, which Giovanni's six milestone quests hand out for stats you were training anyway.

Our take

Bloodlines first for most players: better odds on the #1 pick and the currency comes free from Giovanni's quests. Grab a Water Grimoire early anyway, it's nearly guaranteed per spin and carries mob farming for weeks. Remember only one special can be active at a time, so the real endgame is owning both and swapping per activity: Grimoire to grind, Bloodline to fight.

FAQ

Can I use a Grimoire and a Bloodline at the same time?

No. Specials are exclusive: activating a Grimoire deactivates any Stand, Fruit, Quirk, Kagune or Bloodline, and vice versa. You own them all but fight with one.

What are the exact Grimoire drop rates?

Water 76.92%, Wind 15.38%, Demon 7.19%, Tree 1.04%. Dark Grimoire doesn't drop at all, it comes only from the battle pass.

What are the Bloodline drop rates?

Copy Eyes 54.05%, White Eyes 31.03%, Itachu's Copy Eyes 14.11%, Ripple Eyes 0.8%. Each spin costs 5K Chikara Shards at the NPC beside the Truth Waterfall.

What about Stands, Quirks, Kagunes and Fruits?

Same exclusivity rule, different sources: Stands and Quirks have their own gachas (the Quirk machine is next to Champion Board 2 by the Hospital), Kagunes come from the Ghoul NPC's unlock box, and Fruits physically spawn at five map locations every ~15 minutes.
