Farming Strategy by Stage

Early Game

5 – 100 yen/min

Fighter → Hero

Focus on completing starter quests and leveling up. Don't worry about yen farming yet — your priority is unlocking better classes as fast as possible.

Target: unlock Reaper (500 yen/min)

Mid Game

500 – 10,000 yen/min

Reaper → Magi

Start AFK farming to accumulate yen. Use 2x multiplier events when available. At Magi (10K yen/min) you can realistically save for bigger upgrades.

Target: reach Akuma or Yonko for serious income

Late Game

45K – 4.5M yen/min

Akuma → Hokage

Yen accumulates quickly now. Focus on optimizing your training stats to unlock higher dimensions and better training multipliers.

Target: push to Kaioshin/Sage for exponential growth

End Game

100M – 450B yen/min

Sage → Otsutsuki

At this tier, even trillion-yen goals are achievable in hours. The bottleneck shifts from yen to stat requirements for class upgrades.

Target: maximize all stats and unlock every class

How Yen Works in Anime Fighting Simulator: Endless

Yen is the primary currency in AFSE. You earn yen passively based on your current class rank — higher classes earn more yen per minute. Yen is used to upgrade classes, purchase items, and unlock content. The most effective way to increase your yen income is to upgrade your class, as each tier provides a significant jump in earning rate.

Best Yen Farming Tips

  • Upgrade your class first — a single class upgrade often gives 2-10x more yen/min than any other optimization.
  • Use 2x multiplier events — when active, they double your earning rate. Plan big farming sessions around these events.
  • AFK farm during off-hours — from mid-game onwards, leaving the game running accumulates significant yen passively.
  • Set realistic milestones — break huge goals into smaller checkpoints (1M, 10M, 100M) to track progress and stay motivated.
  • Balance training and farming — stronger stats unlock better content and faster class upgrades, which ultimately means more yen.

Class Upgrade Priority for Yen Farming

Not all class upgrades are equal. The biggest jumps in yen/min happen at specific tiers: Saiyan to Magi (10x), Gorosei to Hokage (18x), and Kaioshin to Sage (6.7x). Focus your yen savings on these high-impact upgrades rather than spending on side items. Use the Classes Calculator to see exactly how long each upgrade will take from your current position.

FAQ

What is the fastest way to get yen in AFSE?

The fastest way to earn yen is upgrading your class as soon as possible. Each class tier dramatically increases your yen/min rate. For example, jumping from Saiyan (1K/min) to Magi (10K/min) is a 10x improvement. Use the 2x multiplier when available for double the earnings.

How much yen per hour can I earn?

It depends on your class. At Saiyan (1K yen/min) you earn 60K/hour. At Hokage (4.5M/min) you earn 270M/hour. At Otsutsuki (450B/min) you earn 27T/hour. Multiply by 2 if you have the 2x boost active.

Should I AFK farm yen?

AFK farming is effective from mid-game onwards (Reaper class and above). In early game your yen/min is too low to make AFK worthwhile — focus on quests and stat training instead.

Does the 2x multiplier stack with other boosts?

The 2x multiplier provides a straightforward doubling of your base yen/min rate. In-game events may provide additional boosts that can stack, but the exact mechanics can vary with updates.

What class should I aim for to farm yen efficiently?

Magi (10K yen/min) is the first major farming milestone. Hokage (4.5M/min) is where yen stops being a bottleneck for most upgrades. Sage (100M/min) and above make even billion-yen goals trivial.
