Magi is a different game. Ten thousand yen per minute is the first five-figure rate in the progression and a 4x jump from Sin. The reference is to the Magi manga, the Aladdin-and-Alibaba labyrinth-bound mages from that series, and the cosmetic plays to that aesthetic, robes, magoi auras, a vaguely Middle Eastern visual palette. How Magi fits into your progression
Magi is the milestone tier players talk about in Discord and on the subreddit. If you stepped away from AFSE for months and came back, your old account is probably still at Magi grinding for the Akuma upgrade, that's how universal the experience is. Two priorities at this rank, do both in parallel. AFK heavily, you're now earning at a rate where overnight sessions matter, and push the 100K stat thresholds you've been deferring since the Reaper days. The 100K Strength Area's 50x training multiplier is more impactful here than at any prior tier because Magi income finally backs it up. Stay focused and Akuma is days away. Get distracted by champion pulls and it's weeks.

Why does Magi feel like such a big deal?▾
It's the first 10K/min rate, and it lands right after the 1T stat wall. You go from 'I'm saving for this' to 'I'm actually doing things' essentially overnight.
How long until Akuma from Magi?▾
A few days of mixed AFK + active play. Akuma costs significantly more than Magi but rewards 4.5x the yen rate, so the ROI is real.
Should I start pulling champions at Magi?▾
Champion Board 1 (5K Chikara) is fine now if you have spare Chikara. Hold off on Board 2's 15K rolls until you're at Akuma or higher, you want larger Chikara reserves before you commit.
