Akuma takes the Magi rate and stacks another 4.5x on top of it. Forty-five thousand yen per minute. That works out to 2.7 million per hour, an order of magnitude past what the early game ever paid. The name is One Piece's Akuma no Mi, the Devil Fruits, though the class doesn't pin to any specific fruit power. Cosmetically it leans into that fruit-bearer aesthetic with the slightly otherworldly aura overlay. This is the rank where yen stops feeling like a constraint for most purchases and starts feeling like a resource you have to actively spend down.

How Akuma fits into your progression

Akuma is the rank where champions become worth the investment. Champion Board 2 rolls cost 15,000 Chikara each, and two rolls in three land Giovanni or Booh — serious auto-trainers that carry the mid game. Save up 60K Chikara, do four rolls in one session, and your lineup almost certainly improves. The other priority is the 1M stat thresholds. The Meteor, the 1M Strength zone with its 100x training multiplier, should be long unlocked by now — if it isn't, that's the first fix, because it accelerates everything else you're doing. Don't sit at Akuma for fun. Yonko is a 2.2x rate jump and the gravity well of champion-tier spending starts to drain whatever surplus you've built.

Why is the Akuma class named after One Piece?

AFSE references multiple shonen series across its class names. Akuma is the One Piece nod to Devil Fruit users.
