Ghoul leans on Tokyo Ghoul, the half-masks, the kagune-flavoured cosmetics, and bumps your rate to 50 yen per minute. That's the first rate where leaving the game running through dinner returns enough yen to do something with. Three thousand per hour isn't life-changing, but it covers Hero's 5K fee quickly, and the real project at this rank is Hero's stat gate anyway: 1M in Strength, Durability and Chakra. The aesthetic is moody in a way the first three classes weren't.

How Ghoul fits into your progression
The interesting tactical question at Ghoul is whether to push Sword or Strength first. Sword scales your swings and the three sword Powers (Flying Slash, Rapid Slash, Dragon's Wrath), which pays off if you're committing to a sword identity, and Reaper at rank 6 will check 10M Sword. Strength is more universally useful and stacks with the early Boom-quest powers like Rapid Punch, the first power every account picks up at 1K Strength. If you can't decide between the two, just go Strength. It ages better across the next four class tiers and almost every endgame stat area cares about it in some way. You can pivot to Sword later when you commit to a sword build. Don't sleep at Ghoul rates, save the AFK sessions for when you're at Hero or higher.

Questions about Ghoul
Does Ghoul give me access to Tokyo Ghoul-themed quests?▾
Not directly. Class rank only changes your yen rate. The Tokyo Ghoul-flavoured content in Endless comes from the Ghoul NPC behind the Gym in Dimension 1 (PvP quests and Kagunes) - there is no separate Tokyo Ghoul dimension.
Should I worry about PvP at Ghoul rank?▾
No. PvP is largely irrelevant until much later. Ghoul-tier players have nothing to gain from picking fights.
