Pirate is your first One Piece nod. The hat is a giveaway. 25 yen per minute looks small on paper but it's a 2.5x jump from Shinobi, the steepest relative gain you've hit so far. You feel it during a coffee break. Roughly 1,500 yen per hour means by the time you've finished one short quest chain and grabbed a drink, the next class is paid for in full and you have leftover for stat unlocks.

How Pirate fits into your progression
The classic Pirate-rank mistake is deciding this is the moment to start AFK farming. Resist. Twenty-five yen per minute is still trivial compared to anything past Reaper, and your actual return on time comes from pushing stat thresholds while you're still active. The single best thing you can do at this rank: get Strength to 10K and move from the spawn Dummies to the Gym, which triples your training multiplier (x5 to x15). Ghoul wants 100K in Strength, Durability and Chakra on top of its 1.5K yen fee, so those thresholds are the actual timeline. Push them now and the class fee will be waiting in your wallet when the stats land.

Should I AFK farm yen as a Pirate?▾
Not really. Active questing pays much better, and you should be spending downtime hitting stat thresholds.
Is the Pirate class tied to a Devil Fruit?▾
No. Fruits in Endless are a separate Specials system: five findable fruits spawn at fixed map spots (by the Arena, between the Library and Gym, at Kunai Grounds, by Sage Platform, by the Red Bridge) every 15 minutes or so. Class rank only changes your yen rate.
