Hokage is the second pacing milestone in the game. The leap from Overlord is roughly 6x, putting you at 4.5 million yen per minute. Two hundred seventy million per hour. The reference is exactly what you'd guess from the name, Naruto's Hokage, the title held by Hiruzen, Minato, Tsunade, Kakashi, and eventually Naruto himself. Most veteran players in chat treat Hokage as the actual start of late-game, the rank where yen surplus becomes effectively permanent and the conversation shifts from yen rates to stat caps. Cosmetically it borrows the long red-and-white robe and the broad-brimmed kage hat.

How Hokage fits into your progression
Hokage changes how you think about the game. The economy stops being a limiter on almost everything except the deepest stat thresholds. Roll Champion Board 2 aggressively every chance you get, you can sustain it now, and push the 1B-tier zones (Excalibur for Strength, Planet for Durability, Sage Platform for Chakra) in parallel. Begin thinking about Kaioshin as the next real target. One thing worth knowing, Hokage rates are high enough that 2x multiplier events change the curve of your week, schedule your heaviest farming windows around them. A 24-hour event during a free weekend can fund the Kaioshin upgrade outright, no daily grind needed. How many champions should I have at Hokage?▾
You should be saturating your 4 champion slots with at least A-tier picks. If you still have B or C tier in your active roster, prioritize Champion Board 2 rolls.
What's the priority, Kaioshin upgrade or 1B stat areas?▾
Kaioshin first. The rate jump (5.6x, 4.5M to 25M) accelerates everything else, including stat-area farming.
Is Hokage worth staying at for a while?▾
Sort of. It's the first sustainable late-game farming rank. But Kaioshin and Sage are dramatic rate jumps and you should move when you can afford it.
